- Do electric cars need servicing?
- Yes. There is no engine oil to change, but brakes, tyres, suspension, cabin filter, coolant and the 12V battery all need checking. Regular servicing keeps the car safe and helps spot problems early.
- Is servicing a hybrid different from a petrol car?
- A hybrid still has an engine that needs oil and filters, but it also has a high-voltage system, extra cooling circuits and brakes that are used less. We follow the schedule set for your specific model.
- Why can a hybrid or EV not start when the big battery is charged?
- Most hybrids and EVs use a small 12V battery to power up the car systems. If that battery is weak, the car may not switch on even with a charged high-voltage battery. We test it at every service.
